Coach Jason was a four-year Varsity wrestler at Conestoga High School and wrestled Division 1 for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Jason qualified for PIAA States three times, becoming a two-time Runner-Up and the PA State Champion during his junior year of high school. In 2003, Jason was inducted into the SE Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Coach Jason lives in Malvern with his wife Kristin and three sons Chase, Jackson and Miles who all wrestle themselves.
Coach Randy grew up in Wilmington and played football his whole high school career for the Brandywine Bulldogs. He graduated from University of Delaware in 2004 and moved to Malvern a few years later.
He never wrestled a day in his life or knew much about it until his oldest son started wrestling in kindergarten (he's now in high school!). He fell in love with the sport and has been heavily involved since day one. Randy is the team's match coordinator and he and his wife Holly run the GVWA program. They have 3 kids in Great Valley who all wrestle, play football and baseball/softball.
Coach Ben started wrestling in 7th grade and wrestled through 12th grade in suburban Chicago, IL.
As a wrestling coach Ben spent 12 seasons with Conestoga Youth Wrestling Association and 3 seasons with Great Valley Wrestling Association. In that time coach Ben has held head coach and assistant coach roles, primarily with group 1-2 level wrestlers.
Coach Ben lives in Malvern with his wife Janelle. They have a daughter Emmy, 7, who is officially starting her first season of wrestling in 2024. Their son Austin is 10 and going into his 5th season of wrestling in 2024. Lastly, their son Connor is 12 and retired from wrestling after 2 seasons, at age 8 :)
Coach Kevin went to Summit HS in New Jersey. He was a 4 year Varsity starter on the wrestling team, and played Lacrosse at Stockton University all 4 years. Coach Kevin was the first lacrosse player in the Athletics Hall of Fame at Stockton.
Coach Kevin lives in Malvern with his wife Alexandra and their kids Shannon, Colin and Dylan who all wrestle.
Coach Steve went to Lackawana Trail High School and was a varsity starter all years in both wrestling and football. His wrestling team won the district championships all four years he wrestled. In college he should have wrestled but instead played Division 1 football for Virginia Tech finishing his academic career at Millersville University.
Steve lives in Malvern with his wife Katie and their two boys Brady and Conor who wrestle and play football and baseball.
Coach Steve was a four year starter for Conestoga High School, and he was part of the team that won two league titles and a district tournament title. He won the award for the team's most skilled wrestler twice. Stephen continued his wrestling career at the division one collegiate level with James Madison University.
Stephen lives in Exton with his wife and daughter. Outisde of wrestling coach Steve is an avid distance runner. He is an investment rewsearch analyst with Bryn Mawr Trust.
Coach Denny lives in Malvern with his wife and twin boys. Born in Virginia, Denny started wrestling in 1st grade and was a youth state champion in Virginia. In middle school, he moved to Maryland and wrestled at St. Paul's school for boys where he set the school record for wins and pins. He wrestled on the Maryland state wresting team for two years before he went off to college at Drexel University. While at Drexel, his interest was peaked by a new sport, rugby which he would later end up at the national tournament for men's rugby with the Schuylkill River exiles. His passion for coaching extends beyond the mat where he is a business and sales coach for organizations looking to grow.
